Our flatware Malmö is among the 8 products selected by Constance Guisset Studio highlighted from the Maison & Objet show in Paris. A new distiction which reinforces the role that this product has between the innumerous exhibitions of design and homedecor that has been present.
We are proud to announce that our flatware #Malmö is one of the pieces selected to represent Portugal at the 5th Biennial Iberoamericana of Design, taking place in Matadero Madrid Design Center, between November 21st of 2016 and January 10th of 2017.

Between October 21st and 24th, The Forty One Madison in New York, will receive the presentation of the Fall/Winter collections for Tableware. For the second time this year, Herdmar will be among the worldwide reference brands present at this important event. The tabletop will as usual be the stage for the presentation of some news for Fall and Winter 2015.
At the launch of the trends for winter, as usual we'll be placed where the directive lines for the home decor are presented. With thousands of daily visitors, Maison & Objet show takes place in "The City Of Light", between September 5th and 9th, and we would like to invite all the "fashion victims" to pass by Hall 3 - Stand E 74, to learn and experiment the new proposals of Herdmar, Porcel and Ivo Cutlery for the new season.
Half a year after its release, Malmö, fuit of a joint project between Herdmar and the Portuguese designer Miguel Soeiro, is nominated for the German Design Award 2015 in the category of Excellent Product Design. This recognition by one of the most important foundations of the design in the World is flattering for this project and obviously a source of proud for Herdmar, that will once more have its product distinguished by its main differentiating factor, the design.
At the end of another working stage, we look back with great satisfaction and feeling of each step we took was towards a prosperous development as a company. In every produced piece we've given a constant commitment and dedication that turns Herdmar into a reference brand, recognized for its excellence in the 65 countries where our products are placed. From 26/5 to 1/6, the Portuguese League Against Cancer conducts its annual "market" in Continuous Care Unit in the IPO Porto Building. Herdmar joins this event as usual, helping to raise funds for this noble cause.
Between the April 22nd and 26th, Herdmar was present in one more edition of the famous Tabletop held in the building Forty One Madison in New York.
This was our 10th participation in what is our usual "hangout" with the North American market. In a very familiar environment, we've shown toguether with our local distributor, our news for Spring/Summer 2014.
For the first time and invited by the Portuguese designer Miguel Soeiro, Herdmar products were represented at this prestigious design event, which is an important reference in the schedule of events of this area.
Challenged by the presented project, fruit of a pure and inspired creative process, we were committed to give shape to the designed prototype, resulting from this commitment a new model of cutlery. Made in stainless steel 18/10, the model Malmö is characterized by its flowing lines and sophistication.
Its distinctive character has been recognized by visitors, being also highlighted by the media as one of the featured pieces in the exhibition. We look with optimism and satisfaction through this participation, where both company and designer honored the name of Portugal with a demonstration of a perfect symbiosis between quality and creativity.
For five days, Frankfurt was the tableware events epicenter. All of the most prestigious brands were there to expose their products for thousands of pluricultural visitors, who daily visit the fair.
Inevitably, and as tradition, Herdmar attended on this meeting where beyond the professional atmosphere, there were many pleasant long term "friends meetings". Through these meetings, we have established connections and received a great feedback that allow us to look ahead with confidence.
The news presented in our space this year, creased further our position, with distinct products, with different design and technical features which make us unavoidably a reference in our area.
For the 20th time consecutive we used this prestigious event to present the news which will set trends for 2014 in the Tableware concerns. Our presence was once again secured by a joint participation with our business partners, Silampos, Porcel and Ivo Cutlery. The synergies offered by the way of being in the market of the companies that comprise this partnership, allowed a better visibility to the shown products, increasing further the already strong brand reputation and converting the booth into a mandatory stopping point.
Following our philosophy that advocates the use of cutlery as a decorative element, beyond its obvious function, we're glad to observe that the presented news perfectly reached the visitors expectations, on this launching pad for "tableware trends".
